Crime Victim Assistance Program

Under the Crime Victim Assistance Program (http://www.pssg.gov.bc.ca/victim_services/cva/index.htm) victims injured as a result of certain crimes, immediate family members of an injured or deceased victim and some witnesses may be eligible for financial assistance or benefits such as counselling. The program recognizes that many victims need support as well as additional services in order to aid in their recovery from physical and psychological effects of their victimization.

Individuals and/or family members registered with the Crime Victim Assistance Program are able to receive counselling services with direct billing to the Crime Victim Assistance Program.
